Welcome to the remaining improvements.
IMPROVEMENT – Meta Data:
In simple terms, means how users can find you on your business site through targeted keywords. For example as keyword phrase of ‘blue books’
There are three primary components on each website page;
i. Description
ii. Keywords
iii. Title
…and of course content 🙂
meta name=”Description” content=”We provide the blue books and a wide range of books”
meta name=”Keywords” content=”blue books”
meta name=”Title”Specialists in blue books all regions
If the above-mentioned is very poorly created on each web page it will result in poor traffic to your website.
Summary:
More pages with correct relevant meta data = More traffic
IMPROVEMENT – Links Created on Pages:
Each page represents a link i.e yourdomain.com.au/page1
There are few keywords that are employed in the links on your site. Better concept i.e. yourdomain.com.au/keywords/keywords
Summary:
More relevant links = More hits = More business enquiries
Bonus IMPROVEMENT – OnePage-Checkout System: (IMPORTANT)
For users to buy from a site it has to be easy and quick.
We employ a secure one-page check out system for users to register or login (returning customer) and buy further product(s).
Click on this link of our test site http://www.downloadworkshopmanual.com/
a) click buy a product and
b) click checkout
You will see an example of a one-page checkout system in action.
Summary:
A faster checkout = more opportunities for a sale and to up-sell.
Side note: Majority of your web page images are labelled poorly i.e. image1.jpg these should be ‘keyword rich’.
